Welcome to Broxtowe Ramblers Website.
We're part of the Ramblers, the charity that helps everyone, everywhere, enjoy walking. We're dedicated to looking after paths, leading walks and encouraging everyone to get outside and discover how walking boosts your health and your happiness. The Broxtowe area of Nottinghamshire includes Beeston, Chilwell, Cossall, Eastwood, Greasley, Kimberley, Nuthall, Stapleford, Toton, Trowell and Watnall.
Throughout the year we offer a regular programme of walks on Wednesdays and Sundays and occasionally on other days too; the walks vary between 4-8 miles and 9-12 miles and there can be a choice of walks on Wednesdays. All our walks are led by volunteers and details of the Leaders can be found by clicking on the Walks tab on Menu bar then click walk programme. We also try to arrange a walking break every year. 38th Annual General Meeting
The 38th Annual General Meeting of the Broxtowe Ramblers will take place on Monday 23rd November 2026 at 7pm in the Beeston Suite at Highfields Fire Station, Hassocks Lane, Beeston NG9 2GQ.
All members are invited and refreshments will be available. It would be helpful if you could bring your own cup or mug to prevent us needing to use disposable cups.

Walk Leaders Wanted
Do you want to help others enjoy walking as much as you do? Would you like to share your favourite walking routes? Then why not become a walk leader with the Broxtowe Ramblers!
Training (online) will be given for new and potential walk leaders plus there's nothing bettter than 'on-the-job' training which can be carried out by our existing walk leaders as well!

We welcome new walkers of all ages and abilities, so come and join us! Membership benefits include 15% discount at Cotswold stores and 10% at Rohan, Blacks and Go Outdoors. Local shops also give discounts e.g. Magic Mountain store at Beeston. Please note these discounts are discretionary and you need to check with the shop.
Ramblers Routes is an on-line library of 3000 routes providing a digital map which you can print or download, directions and an elevation profile are included. These are very helpful to people new to walk leading.
All members please ensure they have set their contact preferences with Ramblers Central Office; necessary in view of changes in data protection, this means everyone needs to opt-in to communication. This can be done on the website or phone membership on 020 39613232

Anyone thinking of joining - membership rates are £45 for a single member and £61 for joint membership and there are concessions for those solely reliant on state pension or receiving other benefits.
