About Us

Welcome to Broxtowe Ramblers Website.  We're part of the Ramblers, the charity that helps everyone, everywhere enjoy walking.  We're dedicated to looking after paths, leading walks and encouraging everyone to get outside and discover how walking boosts your health and your happiness.

The Broxtowe area of Nottinghamshire includes Beeston, Chilwell, Cossall, Eastwood, Greasley, Kimberley, Nuthall, Stapleford, Toton, Trowell and Watnall.

We have a regular walks programme with walks on Wednesdays and Sundays; these walks vary between 4-5 miles and 8-10 miles. There can be a choice of walks on Wednesdays, all walks are led by volunteers. Leaders details are given in the walk details in the programme - just click on the Walks tab on Menu bar then click walk programme. There is no need to book but please choose a shorter walk if you are new to walking.

Our photos are on Facebook accessed via the icon on the right side of this page.

We welcome new walkers of all ages and abilities, so come and join us! Membership benefits include 15% discount at Cotswold stores and 10% at Rohan, Blacks and Go Outdoors. Local shops also give discounts e.g. Magic Mountain store at Beeston. Please note these discounts are discretionary and you need to check with the shop.

Ramblers Routes is an on-line library of 3000 routes providing a digital map which you can print or download, directions and an elevation profile are included. These are very helpful to people new to walk leading.
